First Entry :D

So I have given into peer pressure and started a blog YAY!! :)

It has been a phenomenal first 5 months of the year with one gig in particular standing out being the Cher Lloyd easter tour, and oh what a tour it was!

Starting late March in Folkestone and going through to mid-April finishing off in O2 Shepherds Bush Empire London, hitting various venues, towns and cities along the way inc. Manchester, Birmingham, Glasgow and Bournemouth.

It was so amazing and empowering to grace the stage with all-females and looking out into the crowd and seeing 90% girls, who run da world girls!! ;)

There was also lots of fun along the way too, inc April fools pranks ;) and a certain someones twenty-ah hem-birthday party :)

As far as first tours go, I think I can safely say this has got to be one of the best...luxurious tour bus, delicious catering and the best bit of all was meeting some amazingly talented people and making some fantastic new friends! Cher is not only a pleasure to work with but an absolute pro! Hitting the stage every night, singing her heart out - a true inspiration :)

Since then I have had the pleasure of going on another tour in May/June with blues artist Tristan Mackay. Not only a great singer/guitarist with smooth vocals like John Mayer and guitar chops like Eric Clapton, he is also a very funny man...doubled up with support artist Andrew James O’Brien all the way from Canada, off stage was like a constant comedy show....there were a lot of good times had with a bit of fantastic blues music in between :) Check them both out, you won’t regret it ;)

So now looking forward to upcoming festival dates with Cher, inc T in the Park, Wireless and V....summer ’12 looks to be like a v good one indeed :D
